Art Galleries
At the Crossroads of the S
outhwest, it would delight some to know that the Mesilla Valley offers an extensive array of art ranging from galleries, museums, studios, public and fine art, to sculptures, paintings, photographs and historical artifacts. A wonderful variety of performing arts, theater, music and dance are also available in this high desert community.
Within the friendly streets of Las Cruces and historic Old Mesilla, local museums, galleries, and alternative art venues provide visitors the chance to not only observe the talents of our many fine local artists but also to learn about our history, culture, and the diversity of our people.
So, step inside the studios of these artists, visit our public art and galleries, attend one of our many theatrical productions or musical concerts and witness why the arts in Las Cruces are becoming a major cultural and economic force for the community.
ArtsHop Gallery Tour Since 1994, this annual tour of selected galleries has provided an opportunity for participants to enjoy a variety of exhibits in our area's growing gallery scene. All net proceeds from this event go to support the DAAC Career Art Path (CAP) program for middle school.
