Picacho Hills Country Club is a two time host of the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA). The only private golf course in Las Cruces offers paved cart paths, a driving range and putting greens. This course provides bent-grass greens and tees, bluegrass fairways, and a desert style course. The country club offers a snack bar and grill for dining accommodations. For groups there are four meeting rooms, including a lounge, main dining room that seats 100, and two breakout rooms that can accommodate up to 50 people each. Full service catering and dining are offered.
The nearly 7,000 yard, par 72 Golf Course at Picacho Hills is sure to impress you. Pro Turf Magazine described our course ‘s lush blue grass fairways and bent grass greens as follows: "Picture an emerald lying on a mound of sand...dark green, shining jewel in striking contrast with it's surroundings. That's the first impression of the Picacho Hills Country Club golf course."
But what good is a great course if you can't play on it, right? Well, unlike overcrowded courses throughout the Southwest, our course permits members to play almost whenever they wish. Also, during an average year, inclement weather closes the course less than three days.
